Here’s What You Do (Step-by-Step Guide)
- Go to any inn in Skyrim
- Ask the bartender or owner if they have heard any rumors (You may have to do this more than once)
- Find out what your mission is, then go speak to a fellow named Falion
- Make sure you are not hungry when you speak to Falion. If you look too much like a vampire, he will be hostile towards you which is no good.
- When you talk to Falion, ask him what he knows about vampirism
- Falion will tell you that you need a black soul gem to cure vampirism. Lucky for you he has one for sale!
- Now, ask him what else he has and he is going to have a “Soul Trap” spell for sale too
- You will need to go find someone to kill and use the spell on. Find a victim, and kill them (at close range) so you can get their soul
- Now you have to go back and talk to Falion again and tell him that you filled up the black soul gem
- He will instruct you to wait for him at a marsh, and the marsh will be added to your map
- Again, make sure you are well-fed and get to the marsh before 1:00am to meet him
- He will show up sometime after 1:00am and will perform a ritual to cleanse your blood of vampirism
